Specifically, they contend that Anglo-Americans and Asian-Americans have contrary indigenceal responses in performing a given business organization based on whether they had a personal choice in the matter, whether the choice was make for them by an in-group member, or if the choice was do by the out-group. The results destineed that Anglo-Americans preferred to make the choices themselves while Asian-Americans performed just as well if not better when they had the choice made for them by their in-group. Throughout this study, Iyengar and Lepper argue that levels of motivation may vary, but the motivation to perform a task will perpetually be the lowest if the out-group makes the decision. What this paper will serv e to do is give back their claim by providing an investigateal example where the results would likely submit the out-group decision inspiring the most motivation. The space game experiment that Iyengar and Lepper implemented in their study showed that levels of motivation vary depending on who makes the decision for the students.

The section I find most worrisome is when they discuss how the in-group and out-group will affect the levels of motivation in a manner congruent across group interaction. Although the levels of motivation are at different levels between the two groups, they had the same overarching re sults for one at a time scenario(self, in-! group, out-group).
